Yesterday afternoon we went to Oakley Farms for our annual strawberry picking. It most definitely didn't feel like strawberry time due to this odd cold front we've had move through but there were still plenty of bright red berries to pick. I think Savannah could have stayed out there all day especially since she said she had to pick berries for all her friends at school plus Lilly Belle, Maxi, Michael, Grams, Grandaddy, etc etc. She really can be such a sweet and thoughtful little girl when she wants to be :). Little man seemed less than thrilled with the whole experience.
Now I've just got to figure out what to do with all these berries.
all ready to pick some berries
sampling
showing off her strawberries
taking Walker out for his first fruit picking experience
I am a stay-at-home mom living in Chapel Hill, NC with my wonderful husband, beautiful daughter, rambunctious little boy, and two tiny chihuahuas. I feel truly blessed to be living the life that I'm living. Everyday is like a new adventure. Oh, and I'm taking a short break from marathon training but I intend to get back to it next summer.
