My sweet boy is 3 months old!?!? How can that be?! It seems like we just brought him home from the hospital last week and yet I look at him and think, "my goodness, he's enormous!! Where did my newborn go?!".
Our little guy continues to be quite the chill baby. He's so agreeable and easy-going. God must have heard my pleading when I begged Him for an easy baby. I definitely don't think they can come any easier than Walker. He's happy as long as he's not hungry and from the looks of him, he has never gone hungry :) I could just kiss those sweet cheeks all day.
Walker's 3 month milestones:
~we finally heard his little laugh and it's music to my ears! He's ticklish all over and he's constantly cracking up at Savannah. She does things to him that seem so rough and yet he loves it. The more he laughs the more incentive for her to keep it up.
~his favorite toys right now are his fingers. He's constantly putting them in his mouth. If he's this bad now I can't imagine what teething is going to be like.
~he is quite the chatty little guy. He's always babbling and unfortunately one of his most talkative times is during his middle of the night feeding. It seems that when I ignore him, he just talks louder. Not good at 3:30 am!
~he definitely knows mommy's voice and will turn in my direction when he hears me talking.
~he still hates tummy time and he continues to lay on his face whenever I put him on his belly. He much prefers to be sitting upright so we've already started using the exersaucer. Whatever it takes to get him to strengthen his neck muscles. It must be working because he's actually pretty stable holding his head on his own.
~he is actually able to bear a little weight on his legs and he even enjoys pretending to stand up.
~we are beginning to form a normal daily schedule---awake for the day around 7 am, morning nap around 9:30, afternoon nap around 2:00pm, bedtime routine begins at 7:00pm, normally asleep for the night around 8:30. Of course that is always subject to change based on the activities for the day, but it seems he's happiest with this schedule.
~on average he wakes up only one time during the night for a quick feeding

~he attended the stay-n-play at the gym for the first time this week. On Monday he slept the entire time but by Friday the ladies had to cuddle him, change a blow-out diaper, and witness a little meltdown.
Oh well, he had better get used to them.
~he's been free of sickness for almost 2 weeks now; unfortunately, Savannah is coming down with another cold so I'm sure she'll pass it on to him soon enough.
