Well, we're back to the days flying by again. No more slow months here. Our sweet little man is now 15 months old and he is becoming quite the handful. He gets into any and every thing and he leaves a trail of destruction everywhere he goes. He is 100% boy and we love him to pieces!!
it's now impossible to keep the sticker on his tummy |
as soon as I put it on, he pulls it off |
Walker's 15 Month Milestones/Achievements/Random Tidbits:
~he now has 12 teeth: 8 in the front and 4 molars
~he is now on his second pair of sneakers. His little fat foot was being squeezed too much in the first pair.
~his hair had gotten so long in the front that I had to trim it to keep it out of his eyes.
~he LOVES the dance. Whenever a song comes on the tv, he hunts me down, grabs my hand, and starts bouncing. His favorite song is The Hot Dog Dance on Mickey's Clubhouse.
~he had his first ear infection, a double whammy, and was put on Amoxicillan. Unfortunately this only cleared up one ear so he is currently on Cefdinir. Hopefully this will knock it out.
~he really enjoys playing outside, preferably in a puddle or around some mud. He also likes playing baseball. He gets such a kick out of hitting the ball with his bat.
~We have finally stumbled into a decent nap schedule (except for during sick times). He will take a good 2 hour nap if he goes down around 1:30ish. Of course since I just put this in writing I'm sure he's done with that schedule now.
~he is constantly pointing to things and he has to check out everything.
~he loves to build towers (he can actually stack a couple of blocks by himself) and of course he loves to knock them over.
~he is becoming much more vocal about what he wants and doesn't want. He may not be saying actual words, but he can definitely get his thoughts known.....and usually very loudly.
~I still haven't been able to discern any actual words coming out of his mouth. Right now everything sounds like "dat". I guess he's going to be a late talker like his sister.
~he is really starting to thin out. It seems like every day another roll disappears.....sadness!
Walker's 15th month doctor visit:
weight: 27 lbs 3 oz (95%---finally back on the growth curve) 1 lb 3 oz less than at 9 months!!!!
height: 31 3/4 inches (73%) 1 1/4 inches taller than at 12 months
head circumference: 49.2 cm 0.8 cm bigger that at 12 months
Another month down......make it stop!! Walker is getting too big (despite the lower weight) too fast! He's becoming more like a little boy and less like a baby (**tear**); although, he still likes to be held and snuggled like a baby.....thank goodness. He loves to give kisses and hugs (melt my heart). We couldn't possibly love him any more! PLEASE STOP GROWING!!!!
